Holden Caulfield

Holden Caulfield is just someone who doesn't care about anything, he doesn't care about his future he doesn't care about getting kicked out of school. he just flat-out don't care. he's also kind of an asshole. like not the type that would say something to your face, more of the ones that would say something under his breath. his thoughts are just assholey to me haha.
but he's some one who doesn't understand about his actions NOW and how they will effect him in the FUTURE, his mind just can't comprehend that/

4. Why do teenagers feel the need to rebel against the rules or against other people?

i feel teens like to rebel because....just sometimes living in a structured area is just to much. you wonder what would happen if you stepped out of line, and make your own rules. they say the best way to learn is to experience. and with rules its hard to experience the consequences for the actions you are going to do. but when you break the rules it feels like you are on your own. you call your own shots you do what you want and when you want. its a form for self expression in a way. you break rules that you feel are limiting your self to be a generic teen.
